Technology Spotlight - Core PHP

PHP is a server-side scripting language designed for web development but also used as a general-purpose programming language.

PHP stands for “Hypertext Preprocessor”. PHP is an HTML embedded scripting style. The intension of the language is to allow web developers to write dynamically generated pages quickly. PHP has been in usage to make small as well as gigantic websites such as Facebook, Yahoo, Digg.

PHP provides high compatibility with leading operating systems and web servers such as thereby enabling it to be easily deployed across several platforms.

PHP 5.0 and above version supporting many database engines as we required to install database-specific PDO drivers for that PHP has hundreds of functions provided by the core language functionality and thousands more available via various extensions. As PHP have many frameworks like Zend, CakePHP, Yii, Codelgniter and CMS like Magento, Joomla, WordPress etc. available, using that we can rapidly developed applications.

Verve Systems celebrated its Foundation Day on 18th May, 2014. This year's celebration represented the completion of 5 years of the company's existence. The event marked the conclusion of week's celebration by the company’s employees, which included Potluck event, Blood Donation Camp, some really interesting days such as Team Day, Denim & white Day, Twins Day, Verve Day and various fun activities. The enthusiastic participation by the employees in various events, and the spontaneous response from the audience added to the gaiety of the celebrations.

The Annual Day Celebration was held with much glitz and composure. This was accompanied by dance performances, funny skits and was centred on honouring the company’s employees for their contributions to the success of the organization.

Do online shopping on secure website only, for e.g. URL that starts with “https” only. Avoid common scams such as sweepstakes, lotteries or similar online foreign trade purchase. Use parental control software for children as they are sometimes soft target for hackers.
